Utilizing An Insurance Policy:

Many people choose to use a life insurance policy to cover costs of a funeral.

Life Insurance companies can be very complicated to deal with and can take weeks or months to pay claims.

As a service to the families we serve, Bliley’s partners with Beta Capital Corp., a leading provider of insurance assignment funding services to work directly with your insurance company to pay Bliley’s directly for the funeral services.

How it Works:

  • You, the beneficiary completes the appropriate forms including the “Fast Funding Request” form with staff at Bliley’s.
  • Beta Capital faxes the appropriate forms to the insurance company and begins verifying the policy information.
  • Your insurance company may require additional forms to be completed.
  • Upon verification, Beta Capital pays the Funeral Home directly.
  • Upon completion of requirements, your insurance company will directly pay Beta Capital their portion to cover the funeral costs. At which time, any balance in the policy is paid directly to the beneficiary(ies).
  • To facilitate this service the fee is 5% of only the amount assigned to the funeral home, which is deducted from your share of the insurance proceeds and results in no out of pocket cost to you or your family.
